OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated June 13, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 84 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 20 of

Chapter 377 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Superannuation Act,

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective June 19, 2012: (

a) appoint Shannon Delbridge as Acting Associate Deputy Minister of Education; (

b) designate Shannon Delbridge as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act in her performance of the duties of deputy as have been or may be delegated to her pursuant to

Section 84 of the Public Service Act; (

c) fix and determine the salary of Shannon Delbridge to be at such rate as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier; (

d) direct that Shannon Delbridge shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan and such other benefits as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier; and (

e) designate Shannon Delbridge to be and to have been an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act.
