OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated August 24, 2001, and pursuant to
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and to
Chapter 70 of the said Revised Statutes, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective August 22, 2001, to: (
a) appoint Robert Fowler as Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Clean Up Project; (
b) designate Robert Fowler as a Deputy Head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and direct that he receive all customary benefits associated with the position of Deputy Head; (
c) designate Robert Fowler, in respect of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Clean Up Project, to be an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (
d) fix and determine the salary of Robert Fowler, in respect of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Clean Up Project, to be paid at such rate as may be determined by the Treasury and Policy Board in accordance with the Management Compensation Plan approved from time to time by the Governor in Council.
