Ministerial Order No. 011/2020

a change in the corporate name of The Board of Trustees of Peace Wapiti School
Division.

APPENDIX
An Order to approve a change in the corporate name of The Board of Trustees
of Peace Wapiti School Division
WHEREAS pursuant to
Section 260(10) of the Education Act, which came into
force on September 1, 2019, a school district, school division or regional division
established or continued under the former School Act is continued and deemed to be
a school division under the Education Act with the same boundaries.
AND
WHEREAS pursuant to
Section 260(10.1) of the Education Act, a board of
trustees of a school district, school division or regional division established or
continued under the former School Act is deemed to be a board of trustees of a school
division under the Education Act.
AND
WHEREAS Ministerial Order No. 034/2019 dated August 15, 2019, and
effective September 1, 2019, continued the "Peace Wapiti School Division No. 76" as
"The Peace Wapiti School Division" and "The Board of Trustees of the Peace Wapiti
School Division No. 76" as "The Board of Trustees of Peace Wapiti School
Division".
AND
WHEREAS on February 20, 2020, The Board of Trustees of Peace Wapiti
School Division passed a resolution, under
Section 79 of the Education Act, to
change the corporate name of "The Board of Trustees of Peace Wapiti School
Division" to "Peace Wapiti Public School Division".
1 Pursuant to
Section 79 of the Education Act, I approve a change in the corporate
name of "The Board of Trustees of Peace Wapiti School Division" to "Peace
Wapiti Public School Division".
2 This Order shall come into effect upon signing.

Erratum
The notice which was published in the March 14, 2020 issue of the Alberta Gazette

1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this Policy is to specify certain monies in Consolidated Fund
Part
II for the purposes of allocation to the Metis Settlements General Council for the
2019-20 Financial Year.
1.2
Definitions
In this Policy,
(a) "Financial Year" means financial year as that term is used in
section 139 of
the Metis Settlements Act ("MSA");
(b) "Consolidated Fund
Part II" means the Metis Settlements Consolidated
Fund established by s. 134 of the MSA.
And all other terms defined in the MSA or its Schedules have the same meaning
when used in this Policy.
1.3 Monies Available for Allocation
This Policy specifies that the following funds are available:
