OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated June 5, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased, effective on and after July 16, 2024, to: (

a) approve the Minister of Health and Wellness entering into a Contribution Agreement with the Government of Canada to secure funding for a project to embed linguistic data in French language healthcare services planning, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the agreement; (

b) authorize the Minister of Health and Wellness entering into a net debt obligation in the form of an indemnity in the Contribution Agreement; and (

c) execute such agreements or other documents as may be required in connection with the transaction described in paragraph (b).
