B.C. Reg. 52/2011 , deposited March 25, 2011, pursuant to the ADOPTION ACT [Section 91 (2)]. Order in Council 81/2011, approved and ordered March 24, 2011.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Adoption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 291/96, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 5 of the Adoption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 291/96, is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2.1) For the purpose of

section 7 (1) (a.2) of the Act, the designated representative of a treaty first nation named in Column 1 of

Schedule 1B is a person who holds the position listed opposite in Column 2.

Schedule 1 is amended by repealing the following item under the existing column headings as indicated:
