OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Emergency Management dated February 7, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to: (

a) designate the Public Safety Field Communications Division of the Department of Emergency Management, as a special operating agency, to be known as the Public Safety Field Communications Agency, effective February 18, 2025; and (

b) establish an operating charter for the Public Safety Field Communications Agency in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective February 18, 2025.
