The Minister of Indigenous Relations invited individuals, who he nominated, to

7. The purchaser will be required to execute a sale agreement in form and substance

provided by the municipality.

8. The successful purchaser must, at the time of sale, make payment in cash,

certified cheque or bank draft payable to the municipality as follows:

a. The purchaser must provide a non-refundable deposit in the amount of 10%

of the purchase price with the balance of the purchase price paid to the

municipality within 20 days of the date of the sale.

9. The purchaser shall agree to the following conditions of the sale:

a. All derelict vehicles and equipment shall be removed from the property

within 60 days of the finalization of the sale, and

b. All derelict buildings shall be removed from the property within 120 days of

the finalization of the sale, or

c. The purchaser shall agree, that in default of the conditions set out in this

section, the Village may remove and dispose of the derelict vehicles and

buildings and that all costs associated with this removal will be due and

owing by the purchaser.

10. If no offer is received to purchase the property and if the reserve bid is not met,

the property cannot be sold at the public auction.

11. The Village of Glenwood may, after the public auction, become the owner of any

parcel of land not sold at the public auction.

12. Once the property is declared sold at public auction, the previous owner, or his

heirs or assigns, has no further right to pay the tax arrears.

Informative: Village water and sewer services are located in the NW corner of

Block 1 and the SE corner of Block 2, and all costs to bring those services to the

properties shall be borne by the owner, in the case of development.
