Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the written advice of the President of the Executive Council and the Leader of the Opposition and pursuant to a report and recommendation from the President of the Executive Council dated July 27, 2020, and pursuant to

section 7 of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2010, the Auditor General Act and pursuant to

section 18(1) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Michael Pickup as Auditor General; and (

b) temporarily appoint Terry Spicer as Acting Auditor General effective July 30, 2020.
