OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated March 29, 2011, and pursuant to
Section 18 of
Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act and
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: \x09(a) \x09extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 3314.4 square metres, more or less, situate at or near New Minas, in the County of Kings and more particularly described in
Schedule "A" as identified as Parcel GD-2A on
Schedule "B" which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (b)\x09 authorize the disposal of certain lands containing a total area of 3749.1 square metres, more or less, situate at or near New Minas, County of Kings, and more particularly described in
Schedule "A" and identified as Parcels GD-2A, Parcel H and Parcel I on
Schedule "B" which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (c)\x09 authorize the conveyance of the lands to ECL General Partner Limited, a body corporate with registered office situate at Stellarton, in the County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia, for the nominal consideration of $1.00; and (d)\x09 authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands hereinabove described.
