Order in Council 1323/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 120/2019, dated January 31, 2019, Dr. Emily Rose Groot was appointed as Regional Coroner for the North Region of Ontario, comprised of the following areas prescribed under the Territorial Division Act, 2002: Nipissing, Parry Sound, Algoma, Manitoulin, Sudbury, Timiskaming, and Cochrane;

And

whereas Dr. Emily Rose Groot has, in writing, effective October 1, 2021, resigned her appointment as Regional Coroner for the North Region of Ontario;

Therefore pursuant to subsections 4(1) of the Coroners Act, as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 120/2019, dated January 31, 2019, appointing Dr. Emily Rose Groot as Regional Coroner for the North Region of Ontario, comprised of the following areas prescribed under the Territorial Division Act, 2002: Nipissing, Parry Sound, Algoma, Manitoulin, Sudbury, Timiskaming, and Cochrane, is hereby revoked effective October 1, 2021.
