OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated August 3, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) purchase from Jack Brown Limited, Nova Trucking Limited and Musquodoboit Lumber Limited, their respective heirs, executors, successors or assigns, 25 parcels of land shown outlined in red on Schedules "A" & "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation and containing approximately 1906 acres¦ (773 hectares¦), situated west of Lake Charlotte, Halifax County, for a purchase price not to exceed $596,225, subject to the condition that Jack Brown Limited, Nova Trucking Limited and Musquodoboit Lumber Limited, their respective heirs, executors, successors or assigns, be able to certify title to the parcels of land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
