Statute: Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated June 13, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2000, the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act , is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Doug Bacon of Amherst, Cumberland County, as a member of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a term of two (2) years commencing July 2, 2024; (

b) appoint Victor Oulton of Martock, Hants County, as a member and as Chair of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a term of three (3) years commencing July 2, 2024; (

c) order that Doug Bacon be remunerated for his service in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as a member, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service; and (

d) order that Victor Oulton be remunerated for his service in the amount of $125.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as Chair, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
