OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage dated December 7, 2004, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 11 of

Chapter 22 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Act, is pleased to authorize the Board of Governors of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia to: (

a) lease the premises located at 341 Main Street, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, by Head Lease, to the Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission and to sublease the aforesaid premises from the Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission, on substantially the same terms and conditions of the Head Lease and Sublease attached in

Schedule "A" and forming part of the report and recommendation, together with such other documents and agreements as may be required in connection with the leases and operations of the Art Gallery in Yarmouth; (

b) operate an art gallery at The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia's building located at 341 Main Street, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia; and (

c) authorize the Director of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and the Chair of the Board of Governors of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, with the approval of the Board of Governors of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, to negotiate and execute such instruments as may be necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Order.
