MISSION FOUNDATION AMENDMENT ACT, 2007

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1 The title to the Mission Foundation Act, S.B.C. 1987, c. 34, is repealed and the following substituted:

MISSION COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ACT .

Section 1 is repealed.

Section 2 is amended by repealing the

definitions of "board" and "foundation" and substituting the following:

"board" means the Board of Directors for the time being of the Mission Community Foundation;

"foundation" means the "Mission Community Foundation"; .

Section 3 is repealed and the following substituted:

Foundation continued

3. The Mission Foundation, incorporated under this Act, is continued as a non-profit corporation without a share capital under the name "Mission Community Foundation".

Commencement

5 This Act comes into force on the date of Royal Assent.
