OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated January 26, 2017, is pleased to: (

a) pursuant to clause 105(2)(

a) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Karl Kowalczyk of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) and Paul Landriault of Port Hawkesbury, Inverness County, to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia, each for a one (1) year term commencing April 1, 2017; (

b) pursuant to clause 105(2)(

a) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Bruce Sangster of Amherst, Cumberland County, David Kent Matheson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), and Jonathan M. Akin of Kentville, Kings County, to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia, each for a two (2) year term commencing April 1, 2017; (

c) pursuant to clause 105(2)(

a) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Donald Ryan Brown of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Sydney), Steven Menzies of Berwick, Kings County, and Tanya Snow of Mulgrave, Guysborough County, to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia each for a three (3) year term commencing April 1, 2017; (

d) pursuant to clause 105(2)(

c) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Louis Staple of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a public representative to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia for a two (2) year term commencing April 1, 2017; (

e) pursuant to clause 105(2)(

c) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Douglas Lloy of Stellarton, Pictou County, and Guy James Williams of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as public representatives to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia, each for a three (3) year term commencing April 1, 2017; (

f) pursuant to clause 105(1)(

d) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Donna Denney as the member recommended by the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia for a two (2) year term commencing April 1, 2017; and (

g) pursuant to clause 105 (1)(

e) of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, the Paramedics Act , appoint Dr. Elizabeth Mann as the member recommended by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia to the Council of the College of Paramedics of Nova Scotia for a two (2) year term commencing April 1, 2017.
