OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated December 11, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act is pleased to designate as a controlled access highway the following sections of highway in the County of Kings: (

a) the Granite Connector between the Highway 101 interchange at Exit 11A and Trunk 1; (

b) the access ramps at the Granite Drive Interchange at Exit 11A; (

c) the Granite Connector/Trunk1 roundabout, the Granite Connector roundabout and the north and south roundabouts at Exit 11A; (

d) Two sections of Trunk 1 (Commercial Street), both 100 m east and 100 m west of the Granite Connector/Trunk 1 roundabout; (

e) the first 100 m of Old Dyke Road starting at the Granite Connector/Trunk 1 roundabout; (

f) the first 100 m of Silver Fox Avenue and Granite Drive, starting at the Granite Connector roundabout; and, (

g) along the length of the County Fair Mall Leg at the Granite Connector/roundabout, until the property boundary of PID #55379465 and the first 100 m of a road shown as a Future Connector, starting at the South Roundabout and proceeding in a southerly direction, all as shown on

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation.
