OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing dated August 30, 2000, pursuant to

Section 27 and subsection 87(1) of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and a portion of

Section 2 of

Chapter 1 of the Acts of 2000, the Appropriations Act, 2000, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries to enter into the Amending Agreement for the Federal- Provincial Agreement Establishing the Agricultural Income Disaster Assistance Program and the Canada-Nova Scotia Agreement to Provide Enhancements to the Coverage Provided For Under the Agricultural Income Disaster Assistance Program substantially in the form set forth in Schedules "A" and "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the agreement.
