Definitions HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1 In this Act, (a) "employer" means an employer prescribed in the regulations; (b) "job training program" means a job training program estab lished or operated by the Minister of Manpower and prescribed in the regulations; (c) "temporary job creation program" means a job creation pro gram established or operated by the Minister of Manpower and prescribed in the regulations. 2 Notwithstanding the Labour Relations Act and the Public Service Employee Relations Act, the terms and conditions of employment of a person who is employed by an employer under a temporary job creation program or a job training program shall not be contained in a collective agreement as defined under either of those Acts.

Regulations Thc Licutcnant Governor in Council may make regulations (

a) prescribing employers or classes of employers for the purpose of this Act; (

b) prescribing temporary job creation programs or job training programs or portions of those programs for the purpose of this Act. Non-application of collective agreement In accordance with section 4(1) of the
