OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister in charge of the administration of the Heritage Property Act dated November 3, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Heritage Property Act, is pleased to, effective December 1, 2005: (1) reappoint Robert Cullen of Truro, Colchester County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three years; (2) reappoint Dr.

Paul Erickson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three years; (3) reappoint Olive Pastor of Pictou, Pictou County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three years; (4) appoint Avis Chapman of Amherst, Cumberland County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three years; (5) appoint Einar Christensen of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three years; (6) determine the remuneration of each of the members appointed to the Advisory Council on Heritage Property to be $75.00 per meeting plus reasonable expenses; and (7) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate, or settle claims or charges made against Avis Chapman, Einar Christensen, Robert Cullen, Dr.

Paul Erickson and Olive Pastor and indemnify them from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
