B.C. Reg. 204/2002, deposited July 19, 2002, pursuant to the FARMING AND FISHING INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT ACT

[section 10]. Order in Council 615/2002, approved and ordered July 19, 2002.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that B.C. Reg. 240/94, the Cattle Industry Development Council Regulation, is amended

(

a) in

section 3 (

a) and 3 (

b) by striking "that are raised by a producer",

(

b) by deleting

section 3 (c),

(

c) by deleting

section 4 (2) and substituting

(2) If a levy payable under

section 2 has already been paid in respect of an event under

section 3, no additional levy is payable by any person in respect of the sale or slaughter, as the case May be, of the same cattle during the 7 day period immediately following the event for which the levy was first paid. ,

(

d) in

section 5 (2) by striking out "or causes the removal of the cattle outside of British Columbia," ,

(

e) in

section 5 (4) by striking out "2.5%" and substituting "3%";

(

f) in

section 6 (2) (

b) by striking out "on or before March 31, 2002" and substituting "on or before March 31, 2007", and

(

g) by deleting

section 7 (3) and (4). — J. van DONGEN,
