OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated September 8, 2005, pursuant to Sections 17 and 18 of

Chapter 246 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Labour Standards Code, is pleased to: (

a) continue the honorarium for the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Labour Standards Tribunal to be $6,000 per year for the Chair and $2,500 per year for the Vice-Chair; (

b) determine the per diems paid to the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Labour Standards Tribunal be set at $300 per day for attending hearings, decision preparation and meetings, and full Tribunal meetings, and determine that the per diem remuneration for the Members of the Labour Standards Tribunal be set at $150 per day for attending hearings, decision preparation meetings, and full Tribunal meetings, effective April 1, 2005; and (

c) determine that, in addition to honoraria and per diems paid, the Labour Standards Tribunal receive reimbursement for reasonable travelling and other expenses incurred in connection with the work of the Tribunal, in accordance with civil service policy.
