Order in Council 1563/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portion of highway in the Geographic Township of Gillies, Municipal Township of Gillies, in the District of Thunder Bay, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on Ministry Plan P-3265-23, filed with the Record Service Unit, Northwest Region, Ministry of Transportation at Thunder Bay on the 17th day of July 2024, be designated or closed as described below:

Part 1 be designated as a secondary highway pursuant to

section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P. 50 as amended; and

Parts 2 and 3 be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P. 50 as amended;

the designation as a secondary highway by Order in Council OC-1444/67 dated 13 th April 1967, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument LEW42979, and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument 56751 (Ministry Plan P-3265-12) be revoked pursuant to

section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P. 50 as amended; and

the designation as a secondary highway by Order in Council OC-230/96 dated 8 th February 1996, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument F60115, and registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Thunder Bay as Instrument 375043 (Ministry Plan P-3265-22) be revoked pursuant to

section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P. 50 as amended.
