OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated May 16, 2013, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and in accordance with the Department of Health and Wellness Construction Grant Program, is pleased to, effective June 21, 2013: (

a) approve the making of an additional grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to the Capital District Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed one million, two hundred-thirty one thousand, three hundred and sixty-nine dollars ($1,231,369) to cover the costs for the approved equipment replacement required by the Capital District Health Authority; (

b) approve the making of an additional grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to the IWK Health Centre in the total amount not to exceed one million, one hundred and fifteen thousand, two hundred and thirty-one dollars ($1,115,231) to cover the costs for the approved equipment replacement required by the IWK Health Centre; (

c) approve the making of an additional grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to the South West Nova District Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed two million, two hundred and sixty one thousand, two hundred and twenty-eight dollars ($2,261,228) to cover the costs for the approved equipment replacement required by the South West District Health Authority; (

d) approve the making of an additional grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to the South Shore District Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed one million, two hundred and forty nine thousand, eight hundred and twenty-eight dollars ($1,249,828) to cover the costs for the approved equipment replacement required by the South Shore District Health Authority; and (

e) order that the grants referred to in (a), (b), (c), and (

d) are paid to the Capital District Health Authority, the IWK Health Centre, the South West Nova District Health Authority and the South Shore District Health Authority on the basis of invoiced costs submitted to the Department of Health and Wellness and charged to "Capital Grants, Department of Health and Wellness".
