Statute: Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for administration of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act, dated June 4, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint the following persons as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women each for a term of office of two years, commencing June 1, 2007: Rita Warner of Judique, Inverness County; and Sonja Power of Amherst, Cumberland County (

b) reappoint the following persons as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women each for a term of office of three years, commencing June 1, 2007: Anne Kelly of Lower Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality; Shelley Goodwin of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County; and Holly Meuse of Bear River, Digby County.
