Order in Council 928/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 176(1) of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 , the annual remuneration of Alec Farquhar, who was re-appointed as Director of the Office of the Worker Advisor pursuant to Order in Council O.C. 593/2015, is revised as follows:

from June 4, 2015 to March 31, 2016, Alec Farquhar shall be paid annual remuneration of $131,450;

from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, Alec Farquhar shall be paid annual remuneration of $148,380;

from April 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017, Alec Farquhar shall be paid annual remuneration of $150,460; and

from July 1, 2017 to June 3, 2018, Alec Farquhar shall be paid annual remuneration of $162,490.

Further, Alec Farquhar shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out his

duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

Further, Alec Farquhar shall be eligible for benefits, including vacation, comparable to the benefit entitlements of OPS executives in the Senior Management Group and is entitled to elect to participate in the Public Service Pension Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan.

And further, this Order in Council revokes and supersedes O.C. 594/2015, which remunerated Alec Farquhar.
