Order in Council 1326/2018

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

And

whereas the cluster is to be known as Tribunals Ontario;

And

whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council finds it necessary and convenient to appoint an Executive Chair of Tribunals Ontario;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , Linda Lamoureux of Markham be appointed the full-time Executive Chair of Tribunals Ontario for a fixed term of one year, effective January 1, 2019.

Further, in accordance with subsection 17(1) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009, the Executive Chair shall have the powers, duties and functions assigned to the Chair of each adjudicative tribunal in Tribunals Ontario by this or any other Act or by any regulation, order in council, ministerial or Management Board of Cabinet directive.
