OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated May 4, 2011, and pursuant to subsection 6(1) and
Section 7 of
Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act, and
Section 44A of
Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint under subsection 6(1) of
Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act, Dr. Jean Gray of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, G. R. William (Bill) Lahey of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, W. Carl Breckenridge of Upper Tantallon, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Corina Walsh of Lower Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality, as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation each for three (3) year terms commencing August 2, 2011; (
b) appoint under
Section 7 of
Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act, Dr. Jean Gray of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation for a three (3) year term commencing August 2, 2011; and (
c) appoint under
Section 7 of
Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act, G. R. William (Bill) Lahey of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation for a three (3) year term commencing August 2, 2011.
