OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated January 7, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 238 and 239 of

Chapter 10 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Brent Levy of Hammonds Plains, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a full-time appeal commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal for a term of office extending from February 10, 2009 to March 31, 2010, subject to dismissal for just cause;\x09 (

b) fix the remuneration of Brent Levy as a full-time appeal commissioner in accordance with a salary range equivalent to the Civil Service Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 23) in the range of $65,505.70 to $85,157.28, subject to all applicable enactments, regulations and policies of the Public Service Commission with respect to the Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 23); and (

c) order that Civil Service benefits be extended to Brent Levy as a full-time appeal commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the Civil Service.
