Types of portable scales

1 For the purposes of subsection 72(2) of The Highway Traffic Act the following types of portable scales are approved for use:

(a) "Portable Wheel-Load Weigher, Models M.D. 400 and 500", manufactured by General Electrodynamics Corporation;

(b) "WSA10,000 – 10", manufactured by West Weigh Scale Company Incorporated;

(

c) to (h) [repealed] M.R. 12/2000 ;

(i) "FT4015122", manufactured by Howe-Richardson Inc.;

(

j) the following devices manufactured by HAENNI Instruments Inc.:

(

i) Wheel Load Scale WL 101 (mechanical),

(ii) Wheel Load Scale WL 104 (electronic).
