Order in Council 1560/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portion of highway in the Township of Stimson (Unsubdivided), District of Cochrane, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as

Part 1 on MTO Plan P-8118-5 filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeast Region, of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on the 10 th day of June 2024, be designated as a secondary highway pursuant to subsection 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P. 50 as amended;

the portion of highway in the Township of Dempsay (Unsubdivided), District of Cochrane, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as

Part 1 on MTO Plan P-8119-15 filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeast Region, of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on the 10 th day of June 2024 , be designated as a secondary highway pursuant to subsection 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P. 50 as amended;

the portion of highway in the Township of Dempsay (Unsubdivided), District of Cochrane, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as

Part 2 on MTO Plan P-8119-15 filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeast Region, of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on the 10 th day of June 2024, be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P. 50 as amended;

the portion of highway in the Township of Dempsay (Unsubdivided), District of Cochrane, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, and shown as

Part 3 on a MTO Plan P-8119-15 filed with the Record Services Unit, Northeast Region, of the Ministry of Transportation at North Bay on the 10 th day of June 2024, be no longer under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation pursuant to subsection 29(6) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P. 50 as amended;

the designation as a secondary highway by Order in Council OC 214/71 dated January 21, 1971, and shown as Parts 1 and 2 on plan P-8118-1, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Cochrane as Instrument LT185590 (Plan MISC122), be revoked pursuant to

section 40 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act , R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P. 50 as amended; and

the designation as secondary highway by Order in Council OC 2465/83 dated August 25, 1983 and shown on Ministry Plan P-7306-3, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division in Cochrane as Instrument LT310581 (Plan MISC271), be amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway in the Township of Dempsay shown on Ministry Plan P-7306-3.
