An Act to Amend the Auditor General Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1

Section of the Auditor General Act,

chapter A-17.1 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1981, is amended by add- ing the following after subsection (1): 3(1.1) The appointment of the Auditor General of New Brunswick under subsection (1) shall be ratified by all registered political parties which (

a) are registered pursuant to

section of the Elec- tions Act; and (

b) have at least one member elected to the Legisla- tive Assembly. Commencement This Act or any provision of it comes into force on a day or days to be fixed by proclamation. PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

a) sont enregistrés conformément à l’article de la Loi électorale; et

b) ont au moins un député élu à l’Assemblé législa- tive. Entrée en vigueur La présente Loi ou l’une quelconque de ses disposi- tions entre en vigueur au jour ou aux jours fixés par pro- clamation.
