B.C. Reg. 119/2013 , deposited March 19, 2013, pursuant to the PARTNERSHIP ACT [section 131]. Order in Council 150/2013, approved and ordered March 18, 2013.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective July 1, 2013, the Extraprovincial Limited Liability Partnerships and Limited Partnerships from a Designated Province Regulation, B.C. Reg. 90/2009, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 1 (1) of the Extraprovincial Limited Liability Partnerships and Limited Partnerships from a Designated Province Regulation, B.C. Reg. 90/2009, is amended in the definition of “registration statement” by striking out “ electronically ”.

Section 2 is repealed and the following substituted:

Designated provinces

2 For the purposes of

Part 7 of the Act and this regulation, the following are designated provinces:

(

a) Alberta;

(

b) Saskatchewan.

Section 6 (2) is amended by adding “ and ” at the end of paragraph (

b) and by repealing paragraph (c).

Section 12 is amended

(

a) in subsection (2) by striking out “ in the amount of $30 for a name search required by the extraprovincial registrar ” and substituting “ for a name search required by the extraprovincial registrar for Alberta ”, and

(

b) in subsection (3) by striking out “ the extraprovincial registrar. ” and substituting “ the extraprovincial registrar referred to in that subsection. ”
