OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, dated November 30, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 113 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crop and Livestock Insurance Act , and Sections 2 and 3 of the Arbitration Proceedings Regulations , is pleased to: (

a) appoint John Hamilton of Aylesford, Kings County, as a member of the Crop and Livestock Insurance Arbitration Board for a term of three years commencing on the December 15, 2020; (

b) re-appoint Mark MacDonald of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as member and Chair of the Crop and Livestock Insurance Arbitration Board for a term of three years commencing December 15, 2020; (

c) determine that John Hamilton be remunerated for his service as a member in the amount of $100 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as a member, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service; and (

d) determine that Mark MacDonald be remunerated for service as member and Chair in the amount of $150 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as member and Chair provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
