OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 1, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 355 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Primary Forest Products Marketing Act is pleased to: (

a) appoint Brent Silver, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, as member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board for a term of one (1) year commencing February 27, 2017; (

b) appoint J. Ron Surrette, of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board for a term of one (1) year commencing February 27, 2017; (

c) appoint Steve Brown, of Bass River, Colchester County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board for a term of one (1) year commencing February 27, 2017; (

d) appoint Michael Gillis, of Baddeck, Victoria County, as a member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Marketing Board for a term of one (1) year commencing February 27, 2017; (

e) order that Brent Silver be remunerated for his services in the amount of $250.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred while carrying out business on behalf of the Board, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service; and (

f) order that J. Ron Surrette, Steve Brown, and Michael Gillis be remunerated for their services in the amount of $150.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred while carrying out business on behalf of the Board, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
