OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 5, 2013, and pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to: (

a) acquire land at West Ironbound Island, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, being identified in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale as PID 60358785 and outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule "A", which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from Steven and Karen Shapiro, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns for a contribution of $200,000 towards the purchase price of $387,500 plus any legal, appraisal or survey costs incurred by the Minister in respect of the purchase, subject to the Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy Association contributing the remainder of the purchase price ($187,500) and the condition that Steven and Karen Shapiro, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
