An Act to Amend the Liquor Control Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, en- acts as follows: 1

Section of the Liquor Control Act,

chapter L-10 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by adding the following definition in alphabetical or- der: “after hours club” means any establishment open later than 2:30 a.m., which is considered by public safety agents to be disruptive to residences or busi- nesses, or to be a general public nuisance; 2

Section 124.2 of the Act is amended by adding after subsection (9) the following: 124.2(10) The Minister shall cancel a licence re- ferred to in paragraph 63(b), (b.1), (c), (d), (

g) or (

j) or issued under

section 63.01 if the Minister is sat- isfied that the licensee owns, operates, or otherwise directly or indirectly controls or is involved in the operation of an after hours club. PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

chapitre L-10 des Lois révisées de 1973, est modifiée par l’adjonction de la définition sui- vante selon l’ordre alphabétique « club clandestin » toute entreprise ouverte après h qui est considérée, par des agents de la sécu- rité publique, être perturbateur aux résidences ou entreprises ou être une nuisance publique en géné- ral; 2 L’article 124.2 de la Loi est modifiée par l’ad- jonction après le paragraphe (9) de ce qui suit 124.2(10) Le Ministre doit annuler une licence à laquelle il est référé à l’alinéa 63b), b.1), c), d), g), ou
