An Act to Amend the Workers’ Compensation Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, en- acts as follows: 1

Section 38.11 of the Workers’ Compensation Act,

chapter W-13 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended (

a) by repealing subsection (3) and substitut- ing the following: 38.11(3) Notwithstanding subsection (2), the Commission shall not pay compensation under sub- section (2) in respect of the period commencing with the worker suffering the injury or recurrence of the injury and ending after the passage of the equiv- alent of three working days. (

b) by repealing subsections (9), (11), and (13). PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur les accidents du travail,

chapitre W-13 des Lois révisées de 1973, est modifiée

a) par l’abrogation du paragraphe (3) et son remplacement par ce qui suit : 38.11(3) Nonobstant le paragraphe (2), la Com- mission ne peut pas indemniser en vertu du paragra- phe (2) à l’égard de la période qui commence dès la souffrance d’une blessure par un travailleur et qui se termine après le passage de l’équivalent de trois jours de travail.

b) par l’abrogation des paragraphes (9), (11) et (13).
