OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated November 21, 2017, and pursuant to clause 65(2)(
b) of
Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act , is pleased to revoke the appointments of Shawna Y. Hoyte, Q.C., formerly of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), and Aileen K. McGinty, of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains), as lawyer members of the Review Board under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , effective December 12, 2017.
