OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Human Rights Act dated May 3, 2018, and pursuant to
Section 26 of
Chapter 214 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Human Rights Act , and
Section 18 of
Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the
Interpretation Act , is pleased to, effective June 7, 2018: (
a) extend the term of service of Christine Hanson as Director of the Human Rights Commission until June 30, 2021; and (
b) repeal clause (
c) of Order in Council 2016-1 dated January 5, 2016 and replace it with the following “fix the salary of Christine Hanson at $153,476.18 annually in accordance with S01 (93%) and be subject to all applicable pay plan adjustments approved for non-bargaining unit civil servants.”
