OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated April 12, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and pursuant to

Section 77 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, is pleased to, effective April 25, 2012: (

a) authorize the Minister of Justice to enter into a Project Funding Agreement for fiscal years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 between Nova Scotia and Canada regarding Nova Scotia's Victim Services Project activities respecting a project entitled "Enhancement of Services to Victims of Crime in Nova Scotia", in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, or in a form of agreement to like form and effect; and (

b) authorize the entering into of the net debt obligation created by the indemnity clause within the Agreement.
