OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated November 19, 2013, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Energy to enter into an Agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources for purposes of indemnifying Canada for costs it incurs under its guarantee of debt financing for the Maritime Link as a result of a Nova Scotia government action, substantially in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) authorize the entering into of the net debt obligation created under the Agreement referred to in paragraph (

a) Department(s): Energy (June 2002 - July 2021)
