Statute: Crown Lands Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated May 22, 2002, and pursuant to clauses 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (

b) to authorize the conveyance by deed or grant of a lot of Crown land containing 3/4 acre+ situate at Lewis Lake, Halifax County, to George E. Hue and Janet E. Hue, their heirs, successors and assigns, the Crown land being more fully shown outlined in green on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; (

b) in exchange for the Crown land noted in paragraph (

a) to accept on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia from George E. Hue and Janet E. Hue, their heirs, successors and assigns, a lot of land containing 3/4 acre+ situate at Lewis Lake, Halifax County, subject to the condition that George E. Hue and Janet E. Hue, their heirs, executors and assigns be able to certify title to their land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice, the said land being shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to prepare and have executed such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
