OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister in charge of the Administration of the Heritage Property Act dated July 3, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Heritage Property Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Gordon Harmer of Guysborough, Guysborough County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of three years commencing August 2, 2007; (

b) determine the remuneration of each of the members appointed to the Advisory Council on Heritage Property to be $75.00 per meeting plus reasonable expenses; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate, or settle claims or charges made against Gordon Harmer and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
