Order in Council 1545/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Elizabeth Witmer has been reappointed as Chair of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board by Order in Council O.C. 1543/2020.

Therefore, pursuant to clause 162(3) of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997, during this reappointment, Elizabeth Witmer,

be remunerated at the rate of $188,950 per annum;

be eligible to participate in the pension plan and benefits plan applicable to senior management in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board subject to the terms of these plans;

receive a car allowance of $6,750 per annum; and

be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
