An Act to Amend the Order of New Brunswick Act Loi modifiant la Loi créant l’Ordre du Nouveau-Brunswick His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’Assemblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

Section of the Order of New Brunswick Act,

chapter of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended by striking out “ten individuals” and substituting “five individuals”. 1 L’article de la Loi créant l’Ordre du Nouveau- Brunswick,

chapitre des Lois révisées de 2011, est modifié par la suppression de « d’au plus dix » et son remplacement par « d’au plus cinq ». 2

Section of the Act is amended L’article de la Loi est modifié (

a) in subparagraph (1)(b)(

i) by striking out “of the Executive Council” and substituting “of the Ex ‐ ecutive Council or their designate”;

a) au sous-alinéa (1)b)(i), par la suppression de « du Conseil exécutif » et son remplacement par « du Conseil exécutif ou la personne qu’il désigne »; (

b) in subsection (2) by striking out “subparagraph (1)(b)(iii)” and substituting “subparagraph (1)(b)(ii)”.

b) au paragraphe (2), par la suppression de « sous-alinéa (1)b)(iii) » et son remplacement par « sous-alinéa (1)b)(ii) ». 3

Section of the Act is amended L’article de la Loi est modifié (

a) in paragraph (

c) of the English version by striking out “and” at the end of the paragraph;

a) à l’alinéa (

c) de la version anglaise, par la sup ‐ pression de « and » à la fin de l’alinéa; (

b) by adding after paragraph (

c) the following:

b) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’alinéa c) : (c.1) at the direction of the council and subject to its approval, establish criteria and guidelines for the se ‐ lection process for use under extraordinary circum ‐ stances, and c.1) à la demande du conseil et sous réserve de son approbation, élabore des critères de sélection à utiliser dans des circonstances exceptionnelles et les lignes directrices relatives au processus de sélection applica ‐ bles; 1
