Order in Council 1262/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care has appointed up to a maximum of 12 members, including a Chair, to the Task Force for the Development of Standards for X-rays (“Task Force”) pursuant to

section 9 of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Act for a period not exceeding two years;

Therefore, pursuant to

section 9 of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care Act , each member of the Task Force, including the Chair, who is not employed in the broader public sector shall be paid remuneration at the rate of $398 per day, up to a maximum of 30 days, such that the maximum payable is $11,940 per member;

Further, all members and the Chair shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of the Task Force in accordance with applicable government directives, policies and guidelines.
