Town of Birchy Bay Order

Under the authority of

section 3 of the Municipalities Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

The boundaries of the Town of Birchy Bay are as set out in the Schedule.

Regulation 688/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point at the mouth of an unnamed brook which empties into the most southern inlet of Birchy Bay, that point being 61 metres, more or less, due east of the mouth of Birchy Bay Brook;

Then south 11 east 5,350 metres, more or less, to a point at the extreme southern end of Second Pond on Jumper Brook;

Then due east 3,650 metres, more or less;

Then north 5 30' east 13,550 metres, more or less;

Then due west 450 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern shoreline of "The Reach";

Then in generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of "The Reach" to Birchy Bay Point;

Then continuing in a generally southwesterly direction along the eastern shoreline of

Birchy

Bay

to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
