Statute: Peggy's Cove Commission Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Tourism and Culture dated April 23, 2001, pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 339 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, as amended, the Peggy's Cove Commission Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Peggy's Cove Commission, each for a term of two years commencing April 1, 2001, and ending March 31, 2003: Becky Mason of Tantallon, Halifax Regional Municipality; Murray Garrison of Peggy's Cove, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Darrell C. Fralick of R.R.#1 Tantallon, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

b) designate Murray Garrison as Chair of the Peggy's Cove Commission; (

c) authorize the payment of $50 per half day of attendance at meetings, plus reasonable expenses for the Chair of the Commission; and (

d) authorize the payment of $35 per half day of attendance at meetings, plus reasonable expenses for the other members of the Commission.
