OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change dated March 12, 2026, and pursuant to

Section 14 of

Chapter 438 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Special Places Protection Act , is pleased to approve the designation by the Minister of Environment and Climate Change of: (

a) an ecological site to be known as Toy Makers Marsh Nature Reserve, in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) an addition to Diligent River Nature Reserve ecological site designation, N.S. Reg. 430/2015, originally designated by the Minister of Environment and approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2015-430 dated December 29, 2015, in the form set forth in

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

c) an addition to Quinns Meadow Nature Reserve ecological site designation, N.S. Reg. 237/2004, originally designated by the Minister of Environment and Labour and approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2004-470 dated December 3, 2004, in the form set forth in

Schedule “C” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
