OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated May 8, 2024, and pursuant to subsection 9(1) and clause 10(1)(
d) of
Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased, effective on and after July 2, 2024, to approve the expropriation by His Majesty the King in right of the Province of Nova Scotia of land that is currently identified as a portion of PID 37535655, located at Goldenville, Guysborough County, shown as Parcels P-064/23-2 and P-064/23-3 on the plan marked as
Schedule “A” and described in
Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, the expropriation being made for the public purpose of remediating a contaminated mine site.
